Febbraio 6, 2007I was devastated to hear about Paolo’s death on Saturday and, like everyone in S&S, I mourn his passing.
Paolo was always a man of style, warmth, and wisdom. His wicked sense of humour combined with his magnificent hospitality made every visit to Rome so special. No-one who attended last year’s Reinvention Exchange will forget such magic moments, from the serene beauty of the Sistine Chapel to the eruption of joy in the agency and the streets of Rome as we watched Italy beat Germany in the World Cup semi-final…………grazie Paolo only you could have made this happen for so many of us.
I send my love and condolences to Paolo’s family and pray for happier days to come for them and everyone in S&S Italy.
Paolo, I will miss you as a friend and a dear colleague.

Summertime, and the living is easy…don’t you cry
Vi penso con affetto

Febbraio 1, 2007Oh, what a devastating piece of news! I’m one of those who developed a great sense of admiration and liking to the late Paolo, and bonded further with him at the Reinvention Exchange in Rome in July 2006, sharing the same table, the same team.
Please pass to his family our warmest condolences, sympathy and solidarity, as well as to all his colleagues at Saatchi & Saatchi Italy and beyond. We’ll surely and dearly miss him. God bless his soul with His eternal grace and console his family in their untimely loss of Paolo.
Sincerely,
George

Febbraio 1, 2007I had the great pleasure of working with Paolo for several years on the European Board of Saatchi&Saatchi. During those years he was a friend, wise advisor, passionate ad man and an endless source of humor. But most of all he was the embodiment of “Nothing is impossible”.
The Great Man up there should count himself lucky: From now on he has the best advisor on how to sort things out down here. My deepest sympathy and my best wishes go out to his family.
